Carroll County Schools Performing Arts Center Hosts Quest STEM Day

Sep 17 2019

First and second grade QUEST students participated in a fun-filled day of STEM activities at the Carroll County Schools Performing Arts Center. The Science Guy, also known as “The Science Machine,” began the morning with multiple experiments including, making burning paper “disappear,” defying gravity with a hair dryer and a ping pong ball, and turning liquids into solid matter. Students then divided into groups and toured interactive stations, such as robotics, an innovations lab, a hovercraft experience, and more.

We would like to thank our partners, the West Georgia Youth Science and Technology Center and the University of West Georgia, for providing a premier experience for our students.
